Silves no es sólo su castillo: el resto de la población también merece una visita: sus calles empedradas y en pendiente, su iglesia...
Y en el caso de la iglesia, me gustaría saber, porque no he encontrado información, si esta era la sede episcopal que en tiempos hubo en la ciudad, antes de que el obispo decidiese transladarla a Faro, huyendo de un lugar que se había vuelto insalubre por los cambios en el río
